The Golden Filter were the best band of 2008. They were the best band of 2008 and they have four songs (that I know of). Like, seriously. How can you listen to this and ‘Hide Me’ and not want to be a better person? There’s perfection in music and then there’s perfection. Even though some of the secrets surrounding The Golden Filter when they first hit the blogosphere have been uncovered, it’s still puzzling me. Have they made music under a different name before? How can a band, who is so new, and so fresh, create such flawless music? Please listen to this, and ‘Hide Me’, and you’ll see. You’ll all see. Need album, need everything.
